No anesthesia is needed. During the procedure, tissue is drawn between 2 plates with mild vacuum pressure. This process can be a little uncomfortable for a short time, as can the feeling of cold as the treatment takes effect, usually for around 10minutes after which the treatment is very tolerable.
After the treatment is completed, the area is normally numb and cold to touch. As the tissues start to warm, you may experience some tingling. Patients may immediately return to their normal activities including work and exercise.
